Summary:

Enjoy this video tour of the Cape Cod Rail Trail, including several miles of the MS Challenge Walk.

The MS Challenge Walk sends hundreds of volunteers across the beautiful landscape of Massachusett's Cape Cod. Through neighborhoods, along shorelines, and across bridges, we'll walk along some of New England's finest scenery.

Much (but not all) of that route is along the Cape Cod Rail Trail, which we'll be sharing with runners, pedestrians, and cyclists. It's a fun and safe place to enjoy the company of your fellow walkers.

If you would like to familiarize yourself with that path but can't get down to the Cape in the next month, you can vicariously experience the rail trail in this bicycle tour. The MS Challenge Walk does not begin at the CCRT's beginning, nor does it end at its end, but along the way we'll find ourselves on some of the same course taken by this bicylist in these sped-up videos.

Ken joined the MS Challenge Walk in 2005, more than a decade after his mother was diagnosed. After walking for three years and 150 miles, he switched to the support crew and now rides his bicycle along the trail, providing whatever encouragement (and snacks!) he can to the 600 walkers. He is also an alumnus of the event's steering committee and is this site's webmaster.
